About the Forum:
The Michigan State University Women's Advisory Committee for
Finance, Personnel, and Operations (WACFPO) invites all women
support staff to attend the Spring Forum and Resource Fair.
WACFPO is comprised of women support staff from all employment
levels at the University. We function in an advisory role to
Dr. Fred Poston, Vice President for Finance, Personnel, Operations
and Treasurer. We provide Dr. Poston with a wide range of views
on issues of concern to women support staff at MSU. The Forum
provides an excellent opportunity for you to communicate directly
with senior administrators.
Your concerns and questions form the basis of the topics covered
at the Forum. Dr. Poston will provide a short presentation on
current issues at the University. Following Dr. Poston's remarks,
your questions are encouraged and welcomed from the floor.
WACFPO will also feature campus resources of interest to women
support staff. The Resource Fair will be open from 11:00 - 11:30
a.m. and again from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be served from
11:30 - 12:00 noon.
The Forum and Resource Fair is a great opportunity for you
to network with other women support staff and senior administrators,
extend your horizons, receive answers to your questions and
gather valuable information. We encourage your participation
and we urge you to invite another female support staff member.
